フレンズ主題歌の歌詞「I'll Be There For You」から学ぶ
こんばんは。
前回の記事でニューヨークを舞台にしたおすすめ海外ドラマをご紹介いたしました。
その一つが「フレンズ」です。ニューヨークに住む男女6人の日常を描いたドラマで、フレンズは全部で10シーズンあります。私はこのドラマを3回以上は繰り返しみてますが、このドラマを見るたびに「大人になってからの出会いであんな関係を築けるって羨ましい」って思います。6人の結束は強いしすごい友情ですよね。皆で馴染みのカフェに集まって話したり、皆が集まる部屋があったり本当に素敵な関係だと思います。
フレンズについてはまだまだ色々とご紹介して行きたいのですが、今回はまだフレンズを見たことがない方に、オープニング曲の歌詞をご紹介したいと思います。フレンズのオープニングはシーズン10までずっと同じ曲で毎回同じ曲を聞きながらもやっぱり歌詞が聞きづらく「なんて歌ってるんだろう」と思い気になりながらも調べる事なくずっと見てました。そんな自分の経験から、毎回聞く曲だから歌詞が分かってた方が初めから楽しめるのではないかと思います。

熟語などの説明
D.O.A.：=dead on arrival の略。病院到着時死亡、機器などが到着時破損していたなど
you're broke：破産、お金がない
not your day: ついてない(=It is not my dayも使いますよ)
